Intro to tech

Course Description

TDI Intro to Tech prepares divers for technical diving. It focuses on equipment, buoyancy, trim, and gas planning within no-decompression limits. It’s a stepping stone to Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures, using nitrox within current certification.

Course Prerequisites

  • Minimum age 18, 15 with parental consent

  • Minimum certification: SDI Open Water Scuba Diver or equivalent

  • Proof of 25 logged open water dives

Dive Information

  • A minimum of 3 dives must be conducted.

  • All dives must be conductted at depths within the diver’s current level of certification, and no dives should exceed 23 Metres.

  • In a twin set or sidemount configuration.
